STEM Learning Ecologies is a subject that integrates Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics knowledge in an applied context for early childhood educators.  In STEM Learning Ecologies, students explore the multimodal nature of learning, a concept that recognises that learning occurs through through oral, written, visual, spatial, tactile, gestural, and aural modalities. Students also learn that STEM education requires intentional teaching to scaffold learners as they play with ideas and engage in explorations.
